there has, increasingly, been little for me to do. Even though I was gone so long and I technically have things to be catching up on, it's stuff that could happen basically any time and nobody would notice. A lot of my job is like that; when I do the work, there's definitely a positive impact, but when I don't, it would take a while for somebody to notice. And I fear that it wouldn't be important enough to do anything about. But as long as my employers don't realize this....
