This is where it all began! Webkinz was the first "online world" I really had an account for! My first pet, Ang, was apparently added in 2007, so that's how old my account is. Over a decade. (She is based off of an actual pug my family had at the time, named Angel.)

I have to admit that I stopped playing around 2011-2012 (not sure which), but that's still a good 4-5 years of engagement! I never got to a particularly high level in the game; I feel like most of my time was spent just wandering around my various house rooms and playing the polar bear game in the arcade.

I was really happy when I learned that Webkinz was still around, and I'm hoping to start playing in earnest more soon! I just bought a white Googles with its code in tact, so my newest Webkinz with plush is from 2024 :-) They also did a 20th anniversary celebration that allowed players to get a special pet if they logged in on a certain day, the Twenty Year Tiger!

I did this, and he is my favorite pet right now. His name is Webster Kinny.
